I have used the competition's software the past 3 years. They did not publish it for the Mac platform and I switched. I wish I had started using TurboTax from the start. The interface was less complicated and it seemed to go quicker with less corrections at the end. I'll continue to use it in future years.

Used for the first time last year and was pretty impressed. It seemed very thorough yet easy to use and understand. It's not yet February, and my state refund is already in the bank and my federal is scheduled for deposit next week. Enjoyed this product very much! It made one of the drudgery items of the year quite tolerable.

I generally do not use the interview process and go straight to the forms. The program works great. The review section is a pain as it starts from the very beginning if you change some data.

My main complaint is I had to purchase a new computer as I was using system 9.2 on the mac and it would only work on 10.2.8 or later. Intuit has done this before where they require updated computers that still work with all other programs. It's great to have a new computer but I didn't spend $35 from amazon for the program-I spent $1235 for it.

I am horrible when it comes to numbers, which is why I always went to H&R block to have my taxes done. The fee for H&R block was always going up, but my finances remained the same. Turbo Tax was so easy! They walk you through the entire thing. It offers you such a wealth of information, things that I knew nothing about. I was amazed at how easy it was to do. I will definetly be using it every year.
